What is Holistic Health? the Basics and Practices

🖤 IN this episode, I cover foundational concepts, principles, and practices of holistic health for listeners who are new to this topic.

What is holistic health? It’s a comprehensive approach that integrates various aspects of well-being to achieve a balanced and fulfilling life. A holistic approach to health encompasses mental health, physical health, and spiritual wellness, aiming to nurture all dimensions of our being.

Holistic health isn’t just about treating symptoms; it’s about understanding and addressing the root causes of issues. Holistic therapy, for example, involves various practices such as energy healing and holistic nutrition, focusing on the entire person rather than isolated problems.

What is holistic wellness? It’s the practice of maintaining overall well-being through a combination of holistic practices, including a balanced holistic lifestyle, energy healing, and mindful living. Holistic healing and holistic nutrition work together to support not only physical health but also mental and emotional balance.

Holistic living embraces a holistic approach by integrating these principles into daily life, fostering a state of well-being that supports spiritual wellness and enhances overall quality of life. This approach encourages a harmonious balance between body, mind, and spirit, leading to true holistic health and wellness.

Holistic healing is based on the understanding that optimal health and wellness can only be achieved by considering the whole person, including their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. This approach recognizes the interconnectedness of these aspects and seeks to address imbalances or issues in one area that may affect the others.

  1. Thank you so much! I would love to connect with you and learn more about holistic health. Your voice is so soothing—it’s a pleasure to listen to.

  2. Arianna, this was such a great intro to the topic. I love how you talk about the root causes instead of just chasing symptoms. It’s wild to think that for so long, we’ve been stuck in this Newtonian way of looking at the body—basically treating it like a machine that just needs a part replaced or a chemical fix. Treating it like a machine… not exactly effective in the long run.

The shift toward seeing the body as a “healing field” rather than just a physical object is so necessary. It reminds me of Ayurveda, which has been doing this for literally 5,000 years. They’ve always looked at the individual as a whole system rather than just a collection of seperate parts. It’s definately interesting how modern vibrational medicine is starting to back this up now. Using technology to look at frequency and vibration for diagnosis feels like the bridge between that ancient wisdom and where we’re headed.

I think more people are starting to realize that if the “vibration” of our environment or mental state is off, the physical body is going to follow suit eventually. When you mention the mind-body connection, it really highlights why we can’t ignore the energetic side of things.

Thanks for breaking these concepts down so clearly. It makes the idea of “holistic” feel much less like a buzzword and more like a practical way to live. Recieveing this kind of info is so helpful for anyone trying to navigate the mess that is modern healthcare. Great stuff!

  3. So true,I feel Great in nature in morning walk ground and sunbathing and when I go home and put all chemicals like deodorant shampoo etc, feel so drained out
